ClosheLink (“ClosheLink”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is provided by the ClosheLink Team. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

1) What ClosheLink does

Transform your daily hair routine with ClosheLink — your personal hairstyling diary and stylist. Capture hairstyles, organize them by occasion, browse a timeline of looks, and explore categorized archives for inspiration and easy access to favorites. ClosheLink may also provide personalized recommendations to elevate your look.

2) Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

2.1 Information you provide

• Account and profile information: name, username, email address.
• Customer support: the content of messages you send to us (and any attachments you choose to provide).

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Device information: device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, identifiers that may be used for analytics or stability (as permitted by your device settings).
• Usage data: interactions, feature usage, in-app events, and aggregate statistics.
• Crash logs and diagnostic data: error reports, performance signals, and related metadata.
• Location information (only if you allow it): approximate and/or precise location, depending on the permission you grant.

2.3 Photos, text entries, and media

• ClosheLink may allow you to capture or select photos and create text entries as part of your hairstyle diary.
• By default, your hairstyle photos and diary content are stored locally on your device.
• We do not perform face recognition, and we do not derive biometric identifiers or biometric information from your photos.

3) How we use information

• Provide and maintain the Service, including account creation, authentication, and core functionality.
• Personalize your experience and preferences (including recommendations where you choose to use them).
• Improve the Service, including debugging, analytics, quality assurance, and developing new features.
• Protect the security and integrity of the Service, prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
• Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell personal information.

4) Cookies and similar technologies

If the Service includes web-based components, we may use cookies and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage to improve reliability. You can control cookies through your browser settings where applicable.

5) How we disclose information

We disclose information only as described below and to the minimum extent necessary:

• Account information: retained for the duration of your account.
• Account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days after you delete your account, subject to legal requirements.
• Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months (often aggregated/pseudonymized).
• Customer support content: retained for up to 6 months.

If you use optional automated processing uploads, uploaded content is deleted promptly after processing as described above.

9) Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Delete certain information.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (does not affect past processing).

10) Children and teens (17+)

The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older and is not directed to children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a child under 17 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11) Third-party services

The Service may interact with third-party services or platforms only if you choose to use such integrations. This Privacy Policy does not cover third-party practices. Please review third-party privacy policies separately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective Date” above when changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
